Last Saturday, my friend invited me to a padel tennis exhibition hosted by the Italian embassy in Prague.

I don't play, but I thought it'd be a good opportunity to see and draw something that I don't experience everyday.

The day before that, I deviated a bit from my usual route home to check out the roses in a small park.

"How pretty are they!" I said to myself as I walked along a row of them, admiring the park. "But of course, it's also because people took the time to plant and take care of them."

Then last Sunday, I joined my Urban Sketchers Prague homies on a sketch meetup at Mint Market.

How about you? What beautiful things did you come across last weekend?

Talk to you again soon.

Much love,

Rose

I attended the event hosted by Urban Sketchers Prague today.

Actually, this is my second time because I enjoyed the chill and positive vibe when I checked them out for the first time.

You might ask, "what is urban sketching?".

From what I understand so far, urban sketching involves going to a location of your choice and drawing sketches that are 'unique' - in the sense that they visually communicate to the viewer where you were, but also what was happening at that point in time.

Everyone's sketches. :D At the end of the session, we all show each other what we've drawn.

There was a little girl beside me who was also drawing (she was the daughter of one of the sketchers). Out of the blue, she taps my arm while saying sweetly, "excuse me", then started chatting me up about her drawing and upcoming birthday. XD

I thought I'd humor her only for a bit, but she was just so sweet and fun to talk to. "I'm going to give candies to the kids at school on my name day!" uwu

Zorra on Saturn and her space monkey named Planet. Planet is space-proof and has no allergies!

This one's from the first session last week, I think.

To be honest, I'd been spiraling downwards in my mental and emotional health again...but luckily, I was able to join this group and it has been a lifesaver.
