Lately, I've been drawing while listening to an audiobook of John Keats' poems:

"Retourne-toi" (2022, watercolor)

[...]"Bold Lover, never, never canst thou kiss,
Though winning near the goal yet, do not grieve;
She cannot fade, though thou hast not thy bliss,
For ever wilt thou love, and she be fair!" [...]
- 'Ode to a Grecian Urn' by John Keats

Doesn't it remind you of the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice?

Even if they don't end up together in the end, the love that they both shared will live on, unspoiled and untainted.

Do you like this myth? What are your thoughts on it? Share it with me in the comments!

Much love,

Rose

P.S. I have a special project with this art! Stay tuned for it this Saturday^^

As Marianne says: "C'est fini"! Here's a little sneak peek of what's coming on Saturday, stay tuned! ;)

Much love,

Rose

Hope you're enjoying your Saturday! Time to sit down, relax, and read a silly POALOF fan comic! :)

Since both Marianne and Sophie don't come from an aristocratic background, they must've had a lot to talk about, right?

This comic is brought to you by my Patreon community! Shout-out to Baby D. for sharing this idea (thanks Baby!)!
