Have you ever wondered what Héloïse's mom, La Comtesse, was doing in Paris?

How do they make money??

Well, this is what I imagined. Enjoy!

Get it, La Comtesse!

Update: I was just informed that the zine isn't ready yet, so unfortunately, I have to take down "As with Nature, with You". :( I'll post it back up again once things are ready.

In the meantime, thanks everyone for sharing your love and support!

Do you love spending time in nature? :)

The rustling of the leaves, the chirping of the birds, the color of grass and the sky...

It feels calming, doesn't it?

Let me share a little story with you.

About a year ago, I was invited to contribute art for a special Portrait of a Lady on Fire zine put together by some lovely members of the Portrait community (thank you Piper, Teryn and everybody in the team! Shout-out also to Nina L. for your encouragement!^^).

'How about this: Marianne and Héloïse go on a picnic up a small hill. They take a rest, and have a nice, relaxing time with each other beneath a tree', I thought.

An inner sense of peace, simplicity and love - as felt by being with Nature.

I met Adèle Haenel in person.

I know, rite!? 😳

It felt surreal.

One of my fellow Portrait fans and patron invited me to see L'Etang in Vienna. This was last May.

I thought, 'Wouldn't it be cool to meet Adèle Haenel in person?'

At the time, I was very busy with my teacher training and getting situated in Prague.

It was nuts.

'Would I be able to make it?'

I felt my heart sink a bit.

I'd already bought a ticket.

All that I needed to do was go!

And thank god I DID!! (thank you me!)

Thankfully, my friend and I had a chance to talk to her.

It was short, but I showed her my drawing. :D

"Thank you for pouring out your heart into your art", I finally said.

Adèle smiled. :)

I call this art "FRITZ". An homage to a fantastic and breathtaking performance.

This art piece,"FRITZ" is available as a poster in my shop.^^ You can buy it here.
